  • Introduce at faculty and parent meetings
  • Highlight in a newsletter article
  • Distribute promotional items
  • Encourage your staff to sign-up for newletters. Your netTrekker administrator's email address was added to our newsletter distribution list and will receive a bi-monthly newsletter as well as Did you Know emails containing helpful tips, product news, and feature articles. Past newsletters are archived for easy access.
  • Customize and distribute a Parent letter

Establish Access to netTrekker

  • View Implementation Tips to create awareness, conduct training and promote ongoing usage
  • View Recommended Environment suggestions for web browsers, filters and popups to for best access
  • Increase usage with quick and easy Access Methods by making netTrekker your homepage, adding netTrekker to your bookmarks or toolbar, or creating a webpage link, or login or search box.
  • Email your Account Management contact to help you decide on method(s) of access:
  • Administrators, Teachers, Students and Parents may register individual usernames
  • Administrators may register shared usernames for students and parents
  • netTrekker can bulk load individual or shared usernames
  • IP authentication for school access
  • Portal authentication
  • Federated Search authentication
  • 3rd Party product integration to netTrekker

Login with Administrator account to access Administrative Tools for managing Users and School Settings

  • View A Guide to Administrative Implementation
  • View and/or generate Registration Key for school(s)
  • Set Teacher Code for school(s)
  • Review Usage for school and district
  • Review and manage registered usernames in school with User Count Summary and User Management tools
  • Set Wikipedia and Controversial settings for school(s)

Conduct Training on netTrekker

Promote Ongoing Use of netTrekker

  • Ensure all teachers and staff have established a teacher username
  • Use netTrekker promotional items as a visual reminder
  • Assign a resident netTrekker expert at each school
  • Utilize Professional Development offerings to conduct hands-on training for your staff
  • Highlight best practices at faculty and parent meetings
  • Hold contests to encourage sharing and collaboration of best practices
