igotta by netTrekker Earns AEP 2011 Distinguished Achievement Award
Recognized for excellence in educational technology, igotta provides students with personalized 21st century workspace to study, learn, and complete assignments

CINCINNATI, OH — June 17th, 2011 — igotta by netTrekker has been honored with a 2011 Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP), which has recognized the top educational resources for use in and out of the classroom since 1967. The AEP annual awards program and its seal of excellence are widely recognized by educators, administrators, and parents as a mark of outstanding educational value. This is the fifth AEP award for netTrekker.

igotta, launched in January 2011, is the newest product from netTrekker, a leader in the delivery of digital K-12 educational content. igotta provides a virtual workspace, unlike any other on the market, for students to find, analyze, organize, and use information to complete a wide-range of school assignments, while developing the skills they need to be college and career ready. Students learn critical information literacy and critical thinking skills such as how to take notes, cite sources properly, conduct research, organize their thoughts, paraphrase information in their own words, incorporate multimedia, and more. igotta supports project-based instructional goals and methods, providing students with the framework and guidance to complete independent projects. Students can use igotta to learn, study, and complete reports, writing assignments, presentations, and other project work.

"Helping students succeed and teachers better hone their craft is the hallmark of a great educational product," said Charlene Gaynor, CEO of AEP. "This year we are proud to honor a range of comprehensive, user-friendly educational tools and services that not only exude these qualities, but exemplify instructional soundness, ingenuity, and innovation."

igotta is a winner of the Distinguished Achievement Awards in the Technology category. The Distinguished Achievement Awards (DAAs) are judged according to category (Curriculum, Periodicals, Professional Development, and Technology), subject area, and grade level. Entries are evaluated on traits such as efficacy, usability, and overall educational value. The full list of winners of this year's awards is posted online at www.aepweb.org.

igotta was developed by netTrekker in partnership with Zeus Learning. For more information, visit www.netTrekker.com/igotta.
