School Town and netTrekker Partner to Enhance 21st Century Learning Skills
School Town's Learning Environment Integrates with Educator-Selected Resources from netTrekker Empowering Teachers, Students and Parents

Cincinnati, OH, June 29, 2009 - School Town, an innovator in 21st Century learning skills for K-12 education, and netTrekker, a leader in the delivery of digital K-12 educational content, today launched a joint instructional solution that meets the challenges of 21st century learning. School Town's learning environment engages students, parents and teachers in personalized learning and is now -with a single login-fully integrated with netTrekker's contextually relevant, safe, and easy-to-use educational database of over 300,000 educator-selected digital resources.

Through the partnership, School Town and netTrekker empower teachers to deliver engaging personalized assignments, students to learn time management, collaboration and other 21st Century Skills, and parents to participate in their child's education.

School Town integrates netTrekker at the assignment level so educators can link to netTrekker's valuable database of educator-selected digital resources for specific assignments. Educators can easily link to any of netTrekker's tools such as "My Portfolio" or state or provincial standards aligned digital resource content with a single click. Assignments can be differentiated at both group and individual levels with straightforward tools that allow teachers to provide varying resources in a much easier, and less time-consuming manner than today's approaches provide.

Students can log into School Town to access the assignment and netTrekker resources from anywhere. School Town allows students to submit their assignment, safely interact with their teacher and securely collaborate with other students in their classroom. The partnership allows netTrekker to distribute School Town's platform and School Town to distribute netTrekker.

The integrated solution was conceived with leadership from the New York Public Schools department of education as part of their grant for 21st Century classrooms. Several New York City model schools have adopted the integrated educational resources of School Town and netTrekker.
