Prince Edward Island Signs Province-Wide Agreement for netTrekker

Cincinnati, OH, October 16, 2008 - All elementary school students in the Province of Prince Edward Island now have access to the #1 educational search tool for K-12 schools, netTrekker Using netTrekker, students and educators have fast and easy access to more than 300,000 educator-selected digital resources, aligned with provincial outcomes and expectations, that support and enhance the complete curricula. This is the first province-wide agreement Thinkronize, Inc., developer of netTrekker, has signed with a Canadian department of education.

netTrekker's safe and valuable digital resources are custom designed to help every child learn. The Prince Edward Island (PEI) Department of Education and Early Childhood Development has purchased netTrekker for all of its elementary schools bringing netTrekker to 8600 students in 46 schools across the province.

The decision to purchase netTrekker was based on the feedback from educators who piloted the product. Teachers were very impressed with the ease of use, the search criteria and the selection of sites as well as the administrative tools that enable teachers to share information and monitor student use."
